You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future or unsubscribe from the ordered newsletter, e.g. by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided for this purpose in each newsletter.

For the purpose and in our interest to be able to optimize our newsletter, so-called tracking pixels are integrated into the emails. This provides us with information about which browser and operating system is being used, which IP address is currently being accessed and, at the same time, who the provider is. Furthermore, it is recognized whether the e-mail was read and whether the link integrated in the e-mail was subsequently clicked and the corresponding website was visited via this IP address. In addition, it is counted how often the website was accessed and the corresponding time of the retrieval of the e-mail and the access is recorded. The approximate location of the user is also transmitted. If you do not wish to receive this, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time as described above. 4. Geolocalization

For the purpose and in the interest of displaying content with regional relevance to your location, we process your IP address shortened to the geographic level of the federal states/regions. The geographical information obtained in this way in no way allows conclusions to be drawn about the specific location of a user. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

5. Place of processing

We also process personal data in countries outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"), including in the USA. In order to ensure an adequate level of data protection, we use the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) of the GDPR for the contractual relationships with the services used in third countries, unless there is an adequacy decision by the EU Commission for the respective third country:

9. Newsletter dispatch

We use Mailchimp as our newsletter platform. Mailchimp is a service of The Rocket Science Group, LLC (The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000 Atlanta, GA 30308 USA). Therefore, your data is transferred to Mailchimp for processing. This includes your personal data that you provide to us, including your name and email address. In addition, Mailchimp also collects information it receives from your device (IP address, operating system), as well as your usage data about your interaction with our email campaigns, such as the date and time you accessed the emails and browsing activity (which pages were accessed, which emails were opened). We process this information to optimize the content of our newsletters and collect it on the legal basis of our usage and purchase agreement with Mailchimp.

Mailchimp is certified under the US-EU Privacy Shield, which ensures an adequate level of data protection for data collected in Europe. However, because Mailchimp operates in America, your data may be transferred to, stored or processed in the United States. Mailchimp will only retain your data if there is an ongoing legitimate business or legal need to do so. If there is no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal data, it will either be deleted or anonymized. Upon your request for deletion, Mailchimp will offer us the opportunity to restore your deleted data for approximately 30 days. After that, the data will be permanently deleted. 10. Affiliate marketing

If you have accessed our website via an advertising banner from an external website, we receive information from the operator of the external website ("affiliate") that a user has accessed our offer via the external page. This is the product ID assigned to the advertised offer as well as the identification number of the affiliate (affiliate ID) and a user ID formed from any sequence of numbers. We store this information in a cookie on your terminal device. If you order the offer on our website within 30 days, this information is automatically transmitted to the affiliate in encrypted form after completion of the order process. After completion of the ordering process, but after 30 days at the latest, the cookie is automatically deleted. 11. Social plugins

No social media plugins that directly load data from the servers of the respective social media providers are integrated on this website. The integrated "plugins" are rather simple links to the respective third-party sites, which we identify with corresponding graphics or links. A transmission of personal data to the operator of the social media service by the known plugins therefore does not take place.

12. Duration of storage

We process personal data only as long as this is necessary for the above-mentioned purpose. After that, the personal data will be deleted, provided that no legal retention periods oppose the deletion of the data.

14. Information and correction
